ARRANGING

Caleb has been working as an arranger and steadily for the past few years. Here are some examples of his work in various different genres and sounds. In 2016, Caleb received his Master's in Jazz Arranging from William Paterson University. There's a wide variety here - funk, jazz, strings, and lead sheets. Scroll down to see some examples of his scores, copywork, and other projects.

RATHER BE - ARRANGED FOR JAZZ BAND, CONCERT BAND, PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE, AND MORE!

This was my most ambitious project to date. I was asked by the Music Department at William Paterson University to arrange "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit for the entire Music Department to perform - simultaneously! This large scale arrangement is written for jazz orchestra, concert band, percussion ensemble, solo piano, and SATB choir.

lover's call - big beat

This is an example of my writing for big band and string section. I went for a luscious, full sound of a '50s era pop orchestra, with a little bit of Thad Jones thrown in for good measure. This piece was composed by Allison McKenzie and I wrote the arrangement and take the trombone solo!

mr. wonderful - allison mckenzie

This laid back reggae jam highlights my work with three piece horn sections. I love writing and arranging for all types of music, especially for horn sections! I have worked on several musicians' albums and I'm always looking for new projects. Check out these chill horn lines from Allison McKenzie's recent album, "First Love".
